The CAMPUS
The DLS-Health Sciences Campus occupies an eight-hectare lot in Dasmariñas, Cavite. It is approximately 32km south of Manila and a kilometer away from the Dasmariñas town proper. The Campus is easily accessible by public transportation through 3 main routes: the Coastal Road - Aguinaldo Highway route from the north, the Carmona Highway from the east and the Governor's Drive from the West.
The Campus' location in the emerging city that is Dasmariñas is greatly conductive to learning, being both accessible to the conveniences of a city and at the same time surrounded by the lush and serene environment of the countryside. Within a kilometer radius are situated the DLSU-Dasmariñas, other colleges, a shopping center, restaurants, and the student villages and homes.
The Campus itself is composed of a cluster of four-storey buildings, seven-storey building and a ten-storey hospital wing. The four-storey Academic Building houses the classrooms and laboratories for College of Medicine as well as the College Secretaries and Student Affairs Offices. The seven-storey WANG Building houses the classrooms and laboratories of the Health Allied Courses (CNM, CMRT, CPT) as well as the Administrative Offices of the Colleges. The four-storey DLS-Angelo King Medical Research Center houses the Research Unit, the University Library, and the Information Technology Center. The University Medical Center (UMC) is composed of two(2) four-storey buildings (Building 1 and 2) and the ten-storey hospital annex, the Dra. Teoderica Favis vda. de Rivera Hall (Building 3). Aside from the hospital rooms, doctor's clinics, and the Out-Patient Department, the UMC also houses Emergency Rooms and Operating Rooms in the Hospital Annex. The one-storey Jose Sotto Tantiansu is the center for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
